The International Systems Expo is Decadent and...
A heron stands by a canal, right next to a fairly busy street. It’s surprisingly tall, for a bird, and observes me with a single, yellow eye. I wonder what would happen should I go nearer. Maybe I’ll manage to stroke its feathered head. Most probably it’d either fly off or ram its beak straight into my eyeball, reaching right to my brain.
